Watson and Holmes

Firstly, I apologize for neglecting my Deviantart! This poor site has been getting about as much attention as Myspace - but I promise that I'll be posting more photos soon!

As for cosplay, I'm looking forward to the year - but the first con I attended for 2012 was A-kon 23! A pretty relaxed and uneventful con all around, but it gave me an opportunity to cosplay from some shows I've recently been getting into over the past school year on my free time. One included would be the BBC take on Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock!

This costume was decided after I saw one episode - so many artists had drawn their take on a genderbend "Femlock", and I HAD to take part in it in some way. My hair had grown enough to suit the part with some simple curling, I had gotten a coat for Christmas that looked just like something a Female Holmes would wear, and the rest was simple! (Thrifting the pencil skirt and the "purple shirt of sex" as the internet has come to calling it). Either way, simple and easy - and so much fun!
